Chicken Tenderloin (Pack)

  • Farmer: Seara
    • Seara foods is a leading Brazilian meat processor, offering a wide range of poultry and processed meats. Seara is one of the leading brands of Brazilian JBS SA, the world’s largest producer of chicken and beef.
  • Know Your Chicken
    • Chicken tenderloins are short, thin cuts taken from beneath the breast of the bird, chicken tenderloins are actually slender slices of breast meat. Regardless, chicken tenderloins are lean and take well to several cooking methods. If you avoid using oil or sodium-rich ingredients, these cuts are healthful enough to eat regularly. A 3-ounce serving of chicken tenderloin has 100 calories, 18 grams of protein and 2 grams of fat. Our chicken tenderloin is HALAL chicken.
  • Cooking Tip
    • Chicken tenderloin is a multi tasker, so many cooking methods will work quite well with it. But some cuts lend themselves best to specific techniques. Dry-heat cooking, such as grilling, broiling, sauteing and roasting or baking, will give chicken a lovely brownness, which makes it extra tasty. But if you’re using a boneless, skinless chicken tenderloin, skip the roasting because it may strip away its juiciness. Moist-heat cooking, such as poaching and stewing, can bring out full chicken flavors and keep it juicy.
  • Best Way to Cook
    • Grilling, Broiling, Sauteing and Roasting or Baking.
  • Wine Pairing
    • As a general rule, white meat such as chicken breast or turkey breast pairs well with white wines like Sauvignon Blanc or Chardonnay, while dark meat like duck and other game go well with medium bodied red wines such as Pinot Noir or Zinfandel.

    Baked Fire Cracker Chicken Tenders

    Ingredients:

    • 3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, pounded to ½ inch thickness
    • 1½ cups panko breadcrumbs
    • 3 eggs + 3 tablespoons water
    • ⅓ cup flour sauce
    • ⅓ cup Frank's hot sauce (this brand really makes the sauce!)
    • ⅔ cup brown sugar
    • ½ cup sugar
    • 3 tablespoons ketchup
    • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
    • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • 1 tablespoon water

    Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 425 and grease a large baking sheet with nonstick spray. Slice chicken breasts into 1-inch wide strips. Add flour and chicken strips to a large zip-lock bag, seal, and shake to coat chicken.

    2. Place panko in a bowl. In a second bowl whisk together eggs and water. Dip flour-coated chicken pieces into the egg mixture to coat, then toss in the panko crumbs (make sure to coat well) and place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining chicken.

    3. Bake chicken for 15-25 minutes until golden-brown and cooked through. While chicken tenders are baking, prepare the sauce. In a medium sauce pan combine all sauce ingredients. Stir over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then reduce to low and allow to simmer until ready to use.

    4. When chicken is finished cooking, use tongs to toss chicken tenders in the sauce. Serve warm with ranch dressing if desired.
