ABOUT CAPE BRAND
Where else but Maine can you taste the freshest, most delectable seafood imaginable? When you think of seafood and shellfish, you think of Maine. Cape’s fresh, healthy waters provide the highest quality seafood and fresh lobster for sale in the United States. The Cape company snags high quality, fresh live lobsters and delivers to your door. No preservatives, no chemicals, no nonsense–just mouthwatering Maine seafood and live lobsters.
Cooked lobsters will turn bright red, but that’s not the best indicator of doneness, especially for large lobsters. They may still be underdone when the shell turns red. We recommend cooking them between 10 to 45 minutes depending on the size, then cracking one open where the carapace meets the tail. If it’s done, the meat will have changed from translucent to white.
